The Uninvited: First Preview

No matter how worst are the Asian horror remakes of 2008, but I never loose my curiosity to watch another one remake again, which now is a remake of Korean's "Tale of Two Sisters," with the title "The Uninvited" that will be release on January 30, 2009 (another unlucky date again, I think). The story is still revolve around two sisters, Anna (Emily Browning) and Alex Rydell(Arielle Kebbel). Anna returns home to her father (David Strathairn) and sister, after spending time in hospital following the tragic death of her mother (Maya Massar). Her recovery suffers a setback when she discovers her father has become engaged to her mother's former nurse, Racheal (Elizabeth Banks). That night, Anna is visited by the ghost of her mother, who warns her of Rachael's intentions. Together, Anna and Alex try to convince their father that his current fiancée is not who she pretends to be, and what should have been a happy family reunion becomes a lethal battle of wills between stepdaughters and stepmother.
